The "AlcoClock" is a working clock I created for one of my design school projects in 2009. It's top face is a lazer etched piece of acrylic plastic with a cut-out to see the hour, and corresponding club drink associated with that hour, which is etched on the second layer of plastic rotating under it. To further enhance the color properties of the acrylic plastic, I wired a strip of blue L.E.D lights inside the metal rim of the clock with a switch to create an ambient blue glow behind the clock when it is hung on the wall.
